Desescombro 2

Desescombro 2 is a large-scale assemblage (240 × 240 in) produced collectively by Vanmeter, Sescosse, and Carrera over two years at Elgin Street Studios. The work gathers materials from the artists’ immediate surroundings, forming a spatial sprawl of urban debris and discarded infrastructure. Meaning emerges through adjacency, accumulation, and the quiet dialogue between objects. Here, “Desescombro 2” refers not only to the built city but to the infra-political residue of growth, the overlooked, the leftover, and the provisional architectures of living.
