Cartochromies - objects projected / 2025
This projection was installed on the floor rather than on a wall or screen. Three elements shared the space: a found reflective surface, an oversized Julian Schnabel photobook, and a sound-responsive animated projection. The image falls across all of them, shifting as the surrounding sound and light change. Each element remains distinct, yet they fold into one another through the projection, forming temporary alignments between light, image, and material. The floor becomes a site of encounter rather than display, an arrangement where meaning emerges in the moment through the meeting of objects, movement, and sound.
